What is the 92Y Ford Motor Company fund International Fellowship?
The 92Y Ford Motor Company Fund International Fellowship is an immersive 5-day fellowship program for rising stars working in the non-profit and social impact space. The goal of the program is to educate and empower leaders to build meaningful connections, find new solutions, and build capacity across the sector.
To date, 333 individuals from 74 countries have received the Ford Motor Company Fund International Fellowship, which is now in its seventeenth year. Over the past two decades, the Ford Fellowship has brought together social entrepreneurs from throughout the world to engage with each other, learn key lessons, and connect as a community. We are now re‐envisioning this Fellowship to take the great strengths of this program – its intellectual rigor, its legacy, its breadth – and transform it for today’s leaders.
Beginning with the 2018 Fellowship, 92Y will work with leaders in a specific region to host innovative leadership training and skill‐building in that region. Created by 92Y, a community and cultural center in New York (founder of #GivingTuesday), in partnership with the Ford Motor Company Fund, the program will look at key challenges facing local communities and explore how new technologies, partnerships, and collaborations can help resolve some of these challenges.
The Fellowship will take place in São Paulo, Brazil from March 5‐9, 2018. It is free for participants. Accommodation, meals, transportation, and a small stipend will be provided.
